I personally think there are people who want 'free will' for themselves, but not for everyone else. Some want to control others but have total control over themselves.
Example: Some persons feel it is their right to smoke inside crowded buildings. The only problem is their second-hand smoke is sickening others, dirtying the walls and leaving a smell in the room. Others become seriously ill, others have to clean the walls and floors and everyone has to wash their hair and clothes, all from an exercise of 'free will' of one person.
God gave all of His intelligent creatures a 'free will', but Jesus Christ taught us we will have to learn to love our neighbors and practice 'self-sacrifice' before exercising our own personal 'free will'.
The problem of the freedom of the will is challenging because it involves complex philosophical, ethical, and scientific considerations. Debates arise over whether our actions are determined by external forces or if we possess genuine agency. Resolving this issue requires reconciling various perspectives on human behavior, consciousness, causality, and moral responsibility.
A dilemma is a situation in which a difficult choice has to be made between two or more alternatives, especially equally undesirable ones. It often involves a conflict between equally important values or ethical principles.
freedom is a good thing we hope by the year 2081 that we all will have the freedom that are forefathers have giving us with freedom is where the heart is and will make our world better so give freedom a chance because without freedom we are a world gone under
Paul Bunyan had problems with creating the Great Lakes and keeping them full. To solve this problem, he used his giant size and strength to carve out the lakes with his axe and fill them with water from his blue ox, Babe, who drank so much water and perspired so heavily that the lakes were filled.
The resolution in 'The Necklace' by Guy de Maupassant occurs when Madame Loisel discovers that the necklace she has worked so hard to replace was actually a fake. This revelation leads to the downfall of the Loisels' once comfortable life and serves as a lesson on the consequences of vanity and greed.
Many slaves experienced a mix of emotions upon hearing about their freedom, including relief, excitement, disbelief, and uncertainty about what the future held. Some were cautious about embracing their newfound freedom, as they had been conditioned under slavery for so long.
