∙ 15y agoThere has not been a Queen (or King) of England since 1707. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is Queen of The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. England is part of the United Kingdom but has not had its own, separate monarch for over 300 years.

∙ 13y agoAt the moment there is no King. The Queen is Queen of the UK and Commonwealth not just England. The Queen is the daughter of the Last British Monarch. In the UK the Monarch must be the highest authority in the land, in hierarchy a King is above a queen, therefore if the queen has to be the most powerful a King can't be crowned.

∙ 14y agoEngland actually does not have a queen. There has not been a Queen of England since 1603. The current queen is Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom - not England.
