cold solvent cleans the crystals - without dissolving them.
Warm water would make your crystals go into solution again
Usually, solvents at lower temperature can dissolve lower amount of crystals than solvents at higher temperatures. For eg. if impurity is salt then you are better off washing it at a lower temperature as salts have a good solubility even at lower temperatures and as you raise temperature your crystals will start dissolving in the warm solvent.
cotton should be washed with cold water
You If You Still have the cold, No. If you barely recovered then yes.
it all depends on which crystals you mean, salt crystals can dissolve in both hot and cold water they dissolve quicker in hot water as the hot water acts as a catalyst for this
ice crystals
the air gets cold
cold temperature
sugar, salt syrup anything really because if something dissolves in a hot solvent will dissolve in cold but the hot solvent will dissolve faster because the hot particles give off more energy and the hot solvent gets evenly mixed faster then the cold solvent.im in 7th grade so dont blame me if i got it wrongb SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P----------The solubility of solids in liquids is direct proportional with the temperature; in a cold solvent the solubility is reduced.
I do all the time.
No; it can not be washed off.
cold it helps there chemical coumpoubds freeze
