1892 It is more like 1899 or 1900. In 1892 it cost $1.08 to buy what $1 would buy in 1900. It is too bad that the dollar does not increase in value any more.
They won't, the Susan B Anthony dollars are retired and replaced by the presidential and Sacajawea dollar coins. The Susan B Anthony dollars were the most unpopular US coin in modern history and will not be remade.
No woman has been on a U.S. Dollar yet, but Sacagawea has her own dollar coin and the 50 dollar coin has what I believe to be the greek goddess of victory. Another out of circulation(I believe) has Susan B. Anthony on it, and a 10 dollar coin with Abigail Adams on it. There are definatly more, but not on an actual dollar.
Some are more valuable than others, depending on the date (series). If it's series 1976 or later, the bill is worth face value only.
