Why is the water not circulating in my 1995 C1500 Chevy truck?
Follow Link Below ..
I have a '91 C1500 with nearly 200k on it. Had to do a transmission rebuild at 150k, A/C compressor ( and conversion to new freon) at 160k. Other than that, just the normal wear such as PS pump, water pump, radiator, alternator. Obsessively change the oil and filters.
Low coolant? Radiator probably needs flushing and/or replacing after 40 years. Bad thermostat? System airbound? Water pump not circulating coolant? Hoses collapsing? Bad radiator cap?
my truck leaked as well. I had to take it back several times. It was a bad bead in the front of the cab. they had to do a water test on the truck to find it.
When a water pump fails in a vehicle, the water stops circulating and the engine will not be cooled. Therefore it will get hot and overheat.
IT IS THE PART THE FAN IS BOLTED ONTO
Need to know which engine you have.
The only differance is the threaded one has a removable hose connector that threads into the main body of the water pump and the unthreaded one, the connector id part of the body of the water pump.
when i turn my truck off water leaks from the bottom all the time
try tread lock.
Water pump not circulating coolant? Heater core partially restricted?
Take the bolts of the fan blades
