Let me assure you that the world is not against God. People just wish to have the right to believe what they choose.
Hindus and Buddhists, for example, have their own beliefs and see no reason to believe in God, but equally see no reason to wish that others do not believe in him. They allow others the same choice they wish for themselves.
Atheists are generally not against God. In fact, arguably one could not be an atheist, not believing in God, and be 'against' him. Most atheists simply allow Christians, Muslims and Jews to believe in their God, and simply wish to be left in peace to not believe.
When people like Galileo and Darwin reported their discoveries, they were not doing so against God, they were merely reporting the truth that they had found. The internet is now a resource that makes information about religion and history available to the broader population. But the internet is not against God, it is merely making available information that had hitherto been inaccessible.
