Relax. If you weren't there to hear it, it would not make a sound. Just like the tree falling in the forest(er).
If its like the 08. then its the cover of the rear brake light hitting the window.
rear wheel bearings are bad
Probably a rotted exhaust pipe has broken off. Take the car to a muffler shop for repair.
This may sound like a smart-alec answer, but I am serious. Take your Forester to the auto parts store. Tell them you want the blades replaced. They will do it for you for the cost of the blades. No extra charge, at least in my experience. I changed my own timing belt and water pump, but the wipers I leave to the experts! -Ken
fit a subaru engine
Assuming that you are asking about installing an after-market audio amplifier to boost the sound coming from the factory radio in your Forester, this is still too broad in scope to give a meaningful answer here. Contact www.crutchfield.com. These people are experts in car audio. --Ken
The Pogues - If I should Fall from Grace with God. The Surf song is called: "Bullwinkle Part II" by The Centurions http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CF-YmD3DA2E The Pogues song does not sound like surf to me.
Exhaust leak possibly...
You could be low on power steering fluid
Can you give more detail? Is it squeak, squeak, squeak or squeeeeeeek? I'm assuming that it only occurs when the car is moving. Does putting the brakes on make it change? --Ken It does make squeeeeek sound when car is moving and putting brakes on does change it.
I don't mean to sound like a smart alec here, but wouldn't your Subaru dealer be a better place to ask that question?
Yes they sound throatier because of it
