Found the problem. Rust on the pulleys. Wire brushed the rust off no more squeal.
It's just above the alternator. Took me awhile to find it.
After chips have be used for awhile, Casinos will usually change them. Especially Potato chips, as they get pretty gross after they have be used for awhile. Anything that have be used for awhile needs to be changed.
I have heard the alternator does it,cold drains the battery too,if it's not started for awhile can kill it.
If the battery is sulfated (or otherwise faulty) to such an extent that it calls for a continuous charge, the alternator never gets a chance to switch off. With the resposibilitiy to run continuously the alternator overheats and eventually fails. Never replace a faulty alternator without also checking the battery.
Have you drove the car around? Sometimes it takes the alt. awhile to "kick" in. Say around the block twice?
alternator is going bad take to parts store and get checked
if she is squealing when you touch her that might mean shes in pain so you should take her to the vet.
Possible cause is the crankshaft position sensor if you have a bad alternator then your battery can drain while the car is running DOn't know when did you changed cables lately but arching on one of them will do that. Check the cables for any damage or wear. Also look at distributor while you're there.
Depending if its a new one your trying to install, it may have been on for awhile i would GENTALLY tap it with a rubber hammer to loosen it up.
Because your alternator is bad, and the battery does not have enough power left in it to run the car. If you were to charge the battery for awhile, it will run until the battery is DEAD, then the car will die,,, No more juce left to run it that's all . OR the alternator belt is broken.
