Low coolant? Thermostat not opening?
There is a built in block heater, cord sticks out under body almost in front of driver.
The heater core could be clogged up.
Check your temperature gauge. If it shows the engine is running in the normal range then there could be a problem with the "air door" that controls how much air is brought in through the heater core. Or the core itself is plugged and needs to be flushed out. If the guage shows the engine is running cold , then you should have the thermostat replaced.
Look for a leak in the heater/defrost system. Most times it is caused by a minor water leak in the heater system. Steve

the air conditioner and heater are two separate things.(not connected) ;) it may have a fuse. or the it could just be bad.
