Because Muhammad (unlike Jesus) has noarchaeological evidence supporting that he ever existed...plus, even in Islam, Muhammad was but a prophet, just some dude. Keeping with the comparison to Christianity, there is no picture of Paul, Matthew, etc. because they were just people. (However, literature is writing, ergo there are no pictures in literature)
