Technically, it is not snow; it is shaved ice. The sled runners shave ice as the sled passes down the run.
I realize that. But I can't figure out how the shaved ice gets IN the bobsled. Are there any holes in the bottom of the bobsled or something?
At the finish line
None . . . Jamiaca is too far south to have snow. Their bobsled team practices either in fake snow or in the US.
a sled, bobsled, ski's, or snowboard (They're all something you can ride/use to go downhill in the snow).
They'd be disqualified as it's a 2 men bobsled race, not a one man finish the race that 2 started race
Bobsled is an Olympic sport where either 2 or 4 men/women get into a small aerodynamic sled and go down and ice track. It is very popular in places that have a large amount of snow during the winter or year around. Images and technicals of a bobsled can be viewed in the link below.
It does not snow in Jamaica, therefore they had to make their own courses to practice in the grass and dirt.
Bobsleds have brakes. The brake is a jagged metal bar in the back of the bobsled. The brakeman sits in the back and uses the brakes to stop the bobsled after crossing the finish line. Cheers, 99
They placed 14th in mens four at the 1994 Winter Games in Lillehammer.
It depends on what you mean by bobsled, If you mean bobsled the object yes it is a noun, but if you mean bobsledding it is a verb.
Alpine Bobsled was created in 1998.
No there is no Welsh bobsled team but Jameica has one
The duration of Alpine Bobsled is 60.0 seconds.
