In British English it would be magaZINE but I think Americans pronounce it more like MAGazine. In each case the middle syllable is weak (schwa) but the syllable that doesn't have the primary stress has a secondary stress so it is not weakened. So even in British English the 'mag' part of magaZINE rhymes with 'tag'.

English is a language used by business. It also has many great authors that have written in English from Shakespeare to Mark Twain. Learning English in England will give you a British accent. So the only disadvantage is if you wanted a job on American television, where they want an American midwest accent.
Why have the English Overbite?
My theory is that so many people in the UK, at least England or Britain or whatever they call it, well, why so many people seem to have over bites or buck teeth (not making british teeth jokes I promise) is due to their accent or the fact they've been breeding on a small island for thousands of years with some influx of German and French etc. The overbite is genetic or a product of their accent, or my completely silly confirmation bias.

i grew up in England, and from what i remember brittinsh boys are OBSESSED with American girls. infact, u know how American boys n girls like brits with the whole sexy accent thing? it's ten times more in England, they LOVE Americans, like they're celebs or something. (well, they don't think they're better or anything, its just the accent that drives them wild) and while an American girl might think aw cute about a British girl, British girls feel slightly competitive against American girls, like they have to prove US girls ain't all that or something. either way, you two countries both like each other, so go for it. by the way, im not british... or American I just live in both countries and so this advice is from a purely unbiased, objective experience. gawd, brit boys even TALK about American girls all the time lol and who in the world can resist that British accent? hope that helps.
