Spain has a rich history in civilization. The Muslims once ruled Spain, in what was named Al-Andulas or Andulasia (as its referred to in English). A lot of the sciences and everyday tools we use today came from the innovation of that great civilization. Under Muslim rule, the Christians and Jews were given equal treatment. This was in fact the only place in Europe where the Jews were allowed to live freely.

Spain had approximately 52,000,000 tourists. If each one spends 200 EUROS that is an income of 10,400,000,000 Euros. That is a good chunk of change.
