Because it contained a natural anti-cavity ingredient called sanguinarine, which researchers suspect of white lesions in the mouth called oral leukoplakia. Personally, I've never experienced this after years of using it, but I think they're erring on the side of caution. According to the study, patients who used Viadent were 9.7 times more likely to develop these lesions than those who used toothpaste without the sanguinarine. Oral leukoplakia usually causes no symptoms and disappears on its own but can sometimes lead to oral cancer.

The other toothpaste manufacturers like Colgate are actually selling a product that have warnings right on the label to call poison control if swallowed. Therefore Colgate's claim that Viadent might cause cancer when fluoride is known to be a leading cause of cancer tells the truth about the nature their demonic agenda. In other words the thing speaks for itself.
