Water is a superb source of renewable engine if we know how to help it to do so.
In the simplest case the Sun warms the surface of Earth, and the water which is on it in the form of seas, lakes, rivers, wet surface soil.In so doing the Sun is transferring its radiated heat energy to turn water into water vapour which rises up with the air currents which the Sun has also created (convection currents). As the vapour reaches colder heights it condenses into water drops. These may be so small that they are still kept high by the upcurrents, but ultimately these join into larger drops which fall as ice (snow, hailstones) or rain.
Where dams have been built (usually high up) to catch the rivers which have been formed by the rain, man has harnessed the high level water to shoot down huge pipes with great speed to a lower level, so driving turbines (the modern equivalent of the old watermill) which turn electricity generators which feed electric power into the National Grid.
Because water is so abundant on our planet, scientists have tried to find a way to release the energy which binds its atoms and molecules together, and would be released as heat in similar fashion to the slitting of uranium atoms in an atomic reactor. This would be a powerful way to generate heat to power turbines and electric generators.
It would also be much safer because the by-products of a water reactor would be safer for everyone.
Water has a cycle, which makes it renewable.
There are may kinds of renewable energy, such as solar, wind, or water.
The most popular renewable energy sources currently are: Solar energy. Wind energy. Hydro energy. Tidal energy. Geothermal energy. Biomass energy.
Yes, this can be used as a renewable energy.
The sun is a renewable source of energy. Water is not a renewable source of energy. It is a renewable resource as long as the rain keeps on falling on the same place.
It depends how close the neighbors are, but solar panels and solar hot water on your roof should not affect them. Some power companies offer a choice of renewable energy, at a price.
It depends where it comes from. Energy from solar, wind, water etc is renewable. Energy from burning fossil fuel is non-renewable.
New energy resources better for the environment are called renewable or alternate energy forms. They include solar, wind, water, hydro, tidal and wave, geothermal, ocean thermal, biomass, biofuel and hydrogen.

Renewable energy means using the power of the sun, or the wind, or the movement of water in rivers and oceans to generate power. Once these power plants are established there are no emissions of carbon dioxide or any other pollutants. Non-renewable energy (from burning coal, oil and natural gas, mostly) releases vast amounts of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere increasing our greenhouse gases and contributing to global warming and climate change. So renewable energy is much better for society than non-renewable energy.
