Water is good to use in a car engine for a couple of reasons:
1) To clean the engine out
2) If it's a water-cooled car engine, it's good to use so you don't over-heat and destroy the engine.
Please be aware that today's modern engines are made out of aluminum, these engines require the exact mixture of coolant and water required in the owners manual or serious corrosion will occur.
what is a good engine oil to use in my car
no its not good
there is water in the engine to cool it down. It is best to use a 50/50 mix of clean water and antifreeze, not just water.
You cannot use water in an engine instead of petrol. The internal combustion engine of a car or truck requires the ignition of gases in order to create power. This doesn't happen with water.
Washing an engine is never a good idea as water can get into the electrics. You can however take your car/engine to professional cleaners which will use special chemicals and steam to do the job.
no but if in the winter you do not put in the car the engine will freeze you can also use water during the summer No!
I would say yes, in theory anyway. You can get hydrogen gas from water. That could be used to run a car.
You can make a car run on water if you diffuse oxygen and hydrogen and use hydrogen in your internal combustion engine! But then it is not running on water which was the question. It is running on Hydrogen. So the answer is still NO, you cannot run a car on water.
Good luck, na drop the engine and pull it from under the car, or raise the engine and remove from top. remove water tank, take off pulley (Re-Use) always put on a new belt.
It depends on the year of the car. Older beetles were air cooled and did not use any water.
Making an engine that runs on water has been a dream for a long time. However, steam engines use water in a different way for power. A water powered car is probably far in the future.
For use as an engine lubricant - no.
