Watering plants and grass in the early morning conserves water because the plants absorb most of the water before the hot sun can evaporate it. I found that the best time to water is between 5am to 7am with a good one half to one hour soak one to two times a week depending on the heat. The roots grow deeper and therefore the grass grows thicker and chokes out the weeds. It works out better than watering a little every evening which can produce damaging results to your grass.
Because ... Smaller amounts of water evaporate in the cool morning.
It is smarter to water early in the morning because the water won't evaporate.
The temperature being lower the evaporation decrease.
Normally, there are these enormous warehouses that act like a market. Early in the morning, the florists will buy the flowers they want and then transport them to their shop.
It depends on the size of the container. For example, a larger container needs more water to keep roots moist. It depends on the type of plant. For example, a mature tomato may need 2/3 gallon of water daily. Also, it depends on where it is in its lifespan. For example, needs are generally highest early on as the plant is getting established. Underwatering generally is recognized by much more roots than shoots. So it is important to keep the pump timer correctly set. Just as important as proper watering is proper drainage.
Sounds like a good morning.

watering should be done early morning or in the evening when the heat of the sun is minimal.
watering in the evening usually prevents the water evaporating, and early morning is to prevent it from frosting/freezing up...

Yes sure. It is usually best for watering in the early morning. There tends to be less wind, more water pressure and minimal evaporation. Watering at night could lead to disease and fungus in the turf. In Spring and Fall when nighttime temperatures are cool, evening watering could lead to icy sidewalks, driveways, and streets. This could be a liability if someone has an accident.
water it everyday but it really depends on the flower some needs watering at night.. This question is impossible to answer as different types of plants in different soils in different countries and climates require different attention. The rule of thumb is if watering is necessary do it either early in the morning or late in the evening avoiding the direct sun.
Using an alternative C4 pathway, desert plants photosynthesize early in the morning in order to generate energy when it is cooler and more moist. Later in the day photosynthesis slows and stomata close in order to conserve moisture.
Only if the water lies on the leaves then this magnifies the sun's rays and will scorch the leaf. The water will have more effect in early morning or after sundown as the plant can take it in better.
Yes - According to common talk in India, plants exhale a little bit of carbon dioxide in the early morning after all night inhaling of CO2. Hey, if you have been up inhaling this stuff all night long it is only natural to have had enough by morning! Note that I said "common talk" and not "conventional wisdom".
Watering at night means less water will be lost to evaporation. However, it also means that your grass will be wet for hours which is not good for the lawn. The best is to water it very early in the morning (4-5) where there will be less evaporation and the grass doesn't stay wet too long
