It isn't..
Yes. Low profiles are required. I had 20's on my 04 grand prix gtp
The difference in a GT, and GTP is that the GTP is supercharged. Which gives it 40 extra horses over the GT. GT1 means it a car that was realeased in the first half of the year.
You can get one from dealers but for a price of course.
The top speed of a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP is approximately 140 mph (225 km/h). This performance comes from its supercharged 3.8-liter V6 engine, which delivers strong acceleration and power. However, actual top speed can vary based on factors like road conditions and vehicle maintenance.
o4 grand prix gt blower motor were is it located
I have an 04 Grand Prix and I average around 22-24 mpg city, and as much as 31 mpg highway.
Drivers race 1997-2003: The GTP added an Eaton (Gen 3) M90 supercharger (also used in the 1996-2003 Bonneville, 1997-2003 Regal, 1996-2005 Park Ave, 2003-2004 Impala, 2003-2004 Monte Carlo) to the 3.8 liter, boosting power from 195 hp (145 kW) to 240 hp (179 kW). 2004+: Series III 3800 V6 engine, putting out 200 hp (150 kW) and 230 ft·lbf (310 Nm) of torque, The GTP is a supercharged (Eaton Gen 5 Supercharger) 3800 Series III V6 engine with 260 hp (195 kW) and 280 ft·lbf (380 Nm) of torque.
yes, i have seen about 20 people do this, and I'm sure more than that have actually done it. Any wheel from a 97+ grand prix will fit any other grand prix. Except for some spares and smaller wheels which may not have enough clearance to fit on 04+ due to the larger brakes. You can also use wheels off bonniville (gxp as well) and many other vehicles including mustangs. Any wheel with a 5x115 or 5x4.5 (5x114.3) bolt pattern, and an offset between -28 and -40 will fit. hope that helps Brett
I've seen a 04 Grand Prix with a LS1, so I would say yes but lots of custom fab on mating the engine to the transmission/flexplate and headers/exhaust.
Worn out shocks perhaps. Could be bad suspension bushings too.
Its very difficult to add power steering fluid to the 04 grand prix. Its located on the passenger side, at the bottom of the engine. It has an orange label around it. You will need someone with somewhat small hands to take the cap off and a long funnel to add the fluid.
it could just be the switch pad on the drivers door
