Were the spark plug wires replaced? Even a pinhole in a plug wire can leak enough spark to cause a misfire. Try swapping that wire with another similar length wire from another plug and see where the misfire is then. If the misfire moves to the new cylinder or ceases completely, you'll know the wire was bad.
Check the timing on your vehicle ,but there's more on why your getting a misfire
Auto Zone will check codes for FREE. It maybe a bad plug, wire or coil pack. When was the last tuneup ? It maybe time.
Overdue for a tuneup time!
Should have a "check engine" light on also. Have codes read. Could be a misfire code. May need a basic tuneup.
Most likely needs a tuneup done. Check the timing and change the normal tuneup part.

Usually the tune up is done around 80000 miles. If you have lack of power, engine misfire or poor fuel economy, you may need a tune up. Pull a spark plug and see how it looks and check the gap.
If it's the engine, you probably need a tuneup. This consists of new spark plug wires and plugs. Do NOT gap the plugs. If you do, you will ruin the platinum coating and they will misfire. Make sure you keep the firing order correct, or you will get more of the same... shuddering.
Change the fuel filter and adjust the valves.
TuneUp Utilities was created in 1997.
It varies depending on the year and make of the vehicle. But where I live most of the parts can be acquired for around $40-$50.
check iac motor, or tps sensor for starters. check for tuneup.
