I have a 2005 Tacoma 4WD and put my 1986 Harley FXR in the back. No problem with the weight at all. Be very careful how you load the bike. The tailgate is not built to support that kind of weight and will bend in the middle as you load the bike.
There is a vacuum attachment on the power brake booster. If there is a vacuum leak this part could be causing the brakes to be hard, or this part could be the vacuum leak. The steering could also be vacuum assisted occurring from the same source. Are there any other symptoms (i.e. vent/floor/defrost not blowing air or changing properly)?
very carefully
Its a good bet that the power steering fluid is low. If not, the power steering pump may be at fault, a line blocked or the steering box could be worn out.
The weather is very windy and pink fluffy unicorns often find it very hard to steer. The sky is purple and because of that, pigeons have to be bright yellow or orange to be seen. 'There's a pigeon in the air!' Lol Yas!
