The Camaro started using the 4L60-E in 1994, so that's what your 96 Camaro should be set up for already.
For the money a 93 and up 6spd corvette should get you by the z28... off course any year viper or corvette zr1 will do the trick. 93-98 supras too.
It should be in the tubing in the air filter running into the throttle body. They are usually after the air cleaner.

Depends on the engine and transmission. It should be in the manual. Call the dealer with your Vin#. They should have it. Or it should be on the tag on the rear end cover held on by a bolt. It was on older cars. I am not sure on your though...Hope it helps..
It may depend on whether or not it is a Z28, SS etc. I have a V6 98 and it has 3. 2 right after the headers and 1 by the cat.
98 degrees is burning hot u should wear shor ts tank top and flip flops its so hooot its like a heat wave hit
dont think so it should be a different bolt pattern if needed just cross reference part number on autozone.com to see if there the same
may be a bad or worn ring and pinion gear axel brgs' or low gear oil
The 985 plug is meant to run slightly hotter then the 931 plug. This is a higher performance plug.
