There are 3 possibilities: either the battery is going bad, a device is being left on in the car (lights, etc) or an alternator diode is shorted.
Renault Megane won't start the stater turns over but does not sound like the pistons are going up and down could it be a crank sensor or the cam belt?
Sounds like a timing belt. Crank sensor has nothing to do with the engine turning over.
