Jealousy can be caused by various issues, and in some cases destroy relationships. Some of the major causes of jealousy can emanate from an individual having, low self esteem (poor self image), issues of fear (losing a partner), and insecurity. These are very difficult issues to deal with on both sides. If you really love him, it will take a lot of reassurance, nurturing, building up, and encouragement, on your part. So, if you are committed to him and not provoking jealousy in him such as, looking at other men when your out, praising other men's appearance etc., then it is something within himself that only he can deal with, but you will have to help facilitate his change in attitude as particular to himself. ∙ 13y agoAll guys get jealous, one way or another. There is no way to stop it. I bet you get jealous too. Everyone does, its part of man-kind. Have you been hanging with other guys? Confront him and see his part of the story. Don't be so caught up on "Oh it'll pass" or "he'll tell me eventually." if you keep that up, he might get so jealous and break it off. Just ask him and make a compromise. If you both argue about it, just break it off with him because you know he wasn't your "meant to be" guy.
