I was on the computer, and my cat was next to me, rubbing the computer, when suddenly he meowed really loud, and was shaking his head, and his mouth was wide open! Now, every time he tries to lick him self, after he always opens his mouth, and acts like there's something stuck into it. He can eat fine, swallow, and acts normal, except it seems as if he's not licking him self as much. He does the same thing other times, even when he's just sitting down.
I give him milk every morning, does that have anything do with it?
He's an outdoor and indoor cat,
His best friend is the big dog next door,
He sometimes climes the tree,
He sleeps indoors,
He Meow's ALL the time!!!..But that's normal.
He can never make up his mind if he goes indoor or outdoor,
Please answer me soon! I don't want him to get hurt by it, or have to worry about him, and keep an eye on him like do now! Please help soon! Thank you!

The cat's gums become pale and dry and rub together, making a crunching, or "crackling" noise. Dehydration in cats is a very serious, possibly life-threatening problem that needs *immediate* attention by a vet! The vet can then also determine whether the crunching sound might possibly be caused by other things such as a problem with the teeth or jaw.

∙ 11y agoIs it the sound on grinding teeth? If you aren't able to inspect the cats teeth yourself take it to the vet. One of my cats died of this because I waited too long to get it taken care of. She quit eating and got a major abscess from infection on the side of her head. If it is a tooth, it needs to be removed before infection sets in. Good luck!
