Why is your laptop screen completely black unless you put pressure on it?

I guess, you have hit before or something like that. You need to remove the plactic lcd cover, and find out which of wires is giving you the problem, it might just not connected tight enough. Be extremely careful when you work with lcds, it's very easy to damage it.
