You should follow up with your dentist. There could be damage to the TMJ, a problem with an adjacent tooth, or a remnant of tooth remaining in the socket, or maybe some other pathology.
Contact the orthodontist who performed the surgery and explain the problem. Could be a little infection has set in those areas of the mouth that still experience pain. Don't delay, infection can only get worse if not looked at.
The second day after a wisdom tooth extraction, the wounds are still healing. Drinking alcohol is not recommended until the mouth has completely healed from the wisdom teeth extractions.
no you will be fine
Yes if you have a toothache can they still do sergury inside your mouth?
They are very painful!!!!! my grandma thinks it will never stop hurting. it has been 6 months and its still hurting her!!!!!! We're beginning to wonder if its worth it!!! It is considered one of the more painful types of surgery. Most hip replacements are much easier to recover from. It will take at least a year to fully recover from such surgery.
my tooth was pulled four days ago and it still hurts,it had an infection under the tooth. Is this why it's hurting?
Mouth may be dry if you are taking certain pain killers. A lot of medications will cause dry mouth. Drink a lot of water
No. I'm not a dentist, so I couldn't tell you that a cold will directly interfere with the surgery. However, the recovery may be more difficult with a cold. With a stuffy nose, you may be forced to breathe through your mouth. After wisdom teeth extraction, you will have stitches in your mouth and spaces where your wisdom teeth were. It is a good idea not to allow air to reach these areas because they could create a "dry socket", where nerve endings and possibly bone would be exposed and would be extremely painful. Infection is also more likely with a cold. My advice? Try to get your wisdom teeth extraction scheduled after you are over the cold and at full strength.
If one has an impacted wisdom tooth, it means that their tooth has not had enough room to grow and are stuck under the gum or have only partially erupted. One can visit their dentist to find out if they have an impacted wisdom tooth.
Before I had braces on, it was suggested that I have my wisdom teeth removed, so I did. It could however depend on the individuals teeth, mine were quite crowded or as they call it impacted. You'll be glad you got braces, good for you. Very often, if wisdom teeth have no room to erupt, it is recommended to extract them following an orthodontic treatment.
he's not supposed to be wearing it, but he still does. I'm guessing his foot has still been hurting him.
mostly invisalign needs all of the teeth to work, but if your dentist or orthodontist is very experienced in doing invisalign they can do extraction cases but it all depends on where your tooth is missing from
