If it is leaking when you use the shower, not shutting off completely, it will need to be replaced. If it is leaking at the wall, take it off and reseal the thread on the pipe with either pipe dope or Teflon tape and reinstall.
A sloped roof allows water to flow go off the roof. Otherwise, the accumulation of rain water on a roof and its weight could exceed the ability of the roof to support it and might collapse the roof. The accumulation of water would also decrease the ability of the covering material to keep water out of the inside of the structure.
Because you are losing 25% of your heat through there! (un-doubleglaxed windows lose 10%, un-insulated cavity walls lose 35%) The current regulation is 10inches (250mm) although new builds are having 12inches put in. Basically, it's to save you money and to save the environment. An uninsulated roof is such a waste of energy and resources. If you have it insulated, your home will heat up quicker and when the heating switches off the heat takes longer to dissipate too. It also makes the upstairs cooler in the summer as the heat from the sun on the rooftiles stays in the loft and doesnt pass through the insulation thus you can sleep better. It works both ways. Clever stuff. in an easyer form Because you lose 25% of heat from your house you need roof insulation! We use insulation to save money and the environment. An uninsulated roof is such a waste of energy and resources. If you have it insulated, your home will heat up quicker and when the heating switches off the heat takes longer to get out. It also makes the upstairs cooler in the summer as the heat from the sun on the roof tiles stays in the loft and doesn't pass through the insulation so you can sleep better.
There are a few mechanisms. First, the wind going over the upward-pointing roof creates and upward force owing to Bernoulli's principle. The wind may also catch the roof under the eaves or cause a gable to fall inward and pick up the roof from below.
With the water turned off on all the water devices in your house, see if your water meter is still running.

Because white reflects heat whilst black absorbs it therefore a white roof will keep the house cooler as the suns rays will bounce back off of it whereas a black roof will absorb the suns rays.
Sure. Just shut the betroom door and turn the swamp cooler air vent off. Start up the A/C and enjoy cool dry air.
They help the flow of rain off the roof. Flat rooves are more subject to leaking.
Shrek once said "this is my swamp". it was shreks swamp get off my swamp
You have to remove the whole inside top, the sun v,the overhead console and the hanger hooks. It's a lot of work. But if your car is leaking or the sun roof is off track be prepared to spend about 6 hours fixing it.
Maybe the water is condensation coming off of the roof? If there are water pipes nearby, is one leaking?
Just because there is snow on a roof, does not cause the rafters to become damp. There are several problems that can cause this, roof leaking, insufficient air flow in attic, Soffit not vented, bathroom vent fan hose could be broke or came off of vent. The attic should be the same temp as the outside temp.
I do not know what lives in the Dismal Swamp Figure it out on your own i am off line
1) If the oil cooler is leaking, it could be going into the oil. Check inside the oil filler neck for "cream". 2) The oil cooler cover could be leaking. If coolant leaks from there, it hits the exhaust manifold and burns off before hitting the ground. 3) Best idea: Get a bottle of commercial auto leak tracer dye. Leaks stick out like neon under a UV light.
Turn the a/c off and get into the car while a friend is soaking the front windshield with a garden hose check for any water that may be getting into the car and repair as needed. If none is found then check the drain tube for the a/c and make sure that its not clogged.............
