Because you need to reset the light after you change the oil. Changing the oil doesn´t turn off the light automatically , you need to reset it. there is a very small push button on the dash board that has a label "RESET OIL CHANGE", with the engine off, push and keep pushing while you turn the key to power up the accesories but don´t turn the engine on. the light will go off after a second or so.
