School holidays vary from country to country and from school to school
Most Brazilian holidays are not celebrated across the world. Most of the holidays of any given country are not celebrated by every country. Every country has some of their own holidays.
Asia, as a continent, does not have holidays that cover every country. You would need to specify which country in Asia you are referring to.
It depends which country you are referring to. Not all holidays are universal.
Cambodia has 27 public holidays in 2013.
there are lots of holidays, depending on each country and/or religion. you will need to check with a country to see that. usually holidays are given due to religious celebrations. for example Muslims will get a week off to celebrate Eid-ul-fitr, if they are in a Muslim country. hindus will get holidays to probably observe fasts. christians get holidays for Christmas and Easter. so you'll need to take all of that into consideratio. then there are secular holidays such as Independence and so on. in my country, we celebrate emancipation and Indian arrival day. so there are lots of holidays which are celebrated. right now my country has a month of holidays. others may have more or less.
That depends on the country and, in some cases, on individual regions within a country. Some countries/regions have specific holidays - for example, national or province holidays, religious holidays (for example, Catholic holidays when the country has a Catholic majority), etc.
I went to my aunt's country house to spend theEaster holidays.

There are many different sites that offer lists of public holidays but the majority of them only include one country. It has been found that Wikipedia under "List of holidays by country" has a complete list where one can click on the country of choice and find the specific holidays for that country.
