A paranormal ability such as telepathy could prove that there is life after death, if a living person with this ability was able to communicate with the surviving spirits of dead people, and to obtain information from those spirits that would not have been obtainable by any other means. It is not enough to say "I just heard telepathically from your deceased aunt Frances that she is in heaven and everything is fine" because it would be extremely easy to make up such a statement, whether any actually messages from the Great Beyond have been received or not. However, if aunt Frances can tell us where she left her important documents, what her bank account number was, and so forth, that becomes more significant. That too can (sometimes) be faked, but the more specific and accurate information you can produce by this means, the better the evidence will be that this is a real phenomenon of life after death, and not just a scam.

How does reincarnation prove that there is life after death?

First you would have to prove reincarnation - I don't personally believe in it. But anyway, if we assume for the sake of argument that there is a reincarnation, that means you will continue existing after your death, though perhaps in a different form - as opposed to your conscience disappearing completely.

To collect on a life insurance policy do you have to have the death certificate with the cause of death or can you use a death certificate that does not have the cause of death?

A death certificate with the cause of death is usually required on life insurance policies. It depends on the insurance company, the type of policy and what its terms are. An insurance company will most likely require a death certificate with the cause of death, because the cause of death is important in all life insurance claims. If the policy is one for accidental death benefits only, the company is entitled to know and the beneficiary has to prove that death was accidental. An insurer is entitled to know whether death occurred as a result of suicide, which might not be covered by a standard life insurance policy. Also, an insurance company is entitled to know if the death was a homicide that the beneficiary had something to do with, because that would render the beneficiary ineligible to collect benefits.
