Earth gravity reach beyond the atmosphere?

Oh yeah! It's why the moon - way out of our atmosphere - continues to circle around us. Earth's gravity keeps it close. In fact, even at 17 moon distances away from the Earth, gravity still reaches. Granted, it's 1/millionth of what it is on the surface of the Earth, but the gravitational pull between two objects in fact, never ends, it just gets infinitesimally smaller.

Why wont the earth crash into the sun?

The Earth will never crash into the sun because the Earth will go into it's ice age before it EVER gets near the sun. Once the Earth goes into the ice age, the sun will start to move away from the Earth. That is why the Earth will never crash into the Sun. Hopes this answers your question <3

Can you see the earth if you are standing on the moon?

The moon always keeps the same "side" ... about half of its surface ... facing the earth. If you're standing anywhere on that side of the moon, the earth is always in the sky, (thoughit might not necessarily be visible, if, for example, there's a mountain in the way).If you're standing anywhere on the other side, the earth is never in the sky.

Which would never be visible as crescent phase?

earth

Is it correct to say that satellites stay in orbit rather than falling to Earth because they are beyond the pull of earth's gravity?

No! They are in orbit because of earth's gravity. If they were beyond the pull of earth's gravity, they would fly off and never return. Everything that is in orbit around earth is falling towards earth. Their orbital velocity is great enough so that it compensates for the downward pull. When you throw a ball it falls in a curve. Throw it harder and the ball will fall farther away but will still fall along a curve. Throw it as hard as possible and it will still follow a curved path and eventually land. Gravity causes it to fall along a curve. Now imagine throwing a ball SO HARD that it returns to you from the opposite direction. Gravity has been pulling on it causing it to move along a curved path, but its velocity sends it around earth in an orbit.

What the temp of the center of the earth?

Scientists can never be sure of the exact temperatures at the center of the Earth, because we can not directly travel to the center of the Earth. Some scientists believe it is around 12,500 degrees Fahrenheit.

Can you go and see black holes with a space shuttle?

No. The spac shuttle does not go beyond low Earth orbit. To see a black hole would require interstellar travel, which is not possible with current technology and might never be possible.

Has Sally Ride been to the moon?

No. Sally Ride has been in low Earth orbit, but never beyond that. No woman has ever been to the moon.

How did the earlier scientists their contributions directly affect the discoveries of the later scientists?

Since glass was invented, the scientists were able to create the microscope. If this was never invented, the scientists would never have been able to discover cells.
