I had the same problem with my 1987 Trans Am GTA. The turn signal indicator has gone bad and needs to be replaced. That will get the brake lights working again.
from what i know there are separate fuses for the left side lights and the right side lights so it might be a fuse
check your fuses
Check the fuse box in the engine compartment, also you need to check the lights itself. You might have to replace it.
it might be a horn relay switch or a wire or simply check related fuses in the compartment.
Presumably if both stopped working at the same time the bulbs are okay, but worth checking. The fuses might be fine but the actual connection between wires might be loose/disconnected.
checked fuses, or checked for voltage to interior light socket?
The interior lights and rear lights might go out on a 1995 Honda Accord because the light fuse has blown. Check the fuses under the hood or under the steering wheel to confirm.
if your talking about head lights? you might want to make sure your parking break is off. if you talking about your dome lights you need to check for dome light over ride then might check fuses. it is poss that you took some sort of surge and blew bulbs
you might have a bad Flasher relay.
Check your fuses. One is probably blown out. If that is the case you might check the trailer light hookup if you have one.
If it has electric fans, make sure they are coming on when it get's hot. If not, then check the fuses and relays for them and power to the fans. Might just be a relay for the fans.
Are there tail lights? If not, then the light switch itself might be bad. If the tail lights/running lights are working, and only the dash is affected, did you put in an aftermarket radio? It gets kind of complicated after that.
