The Muslims may offer prayer at any neat and clean place, at home, at office or in open ground. Anyhow, they have built special buildings for this purpose where they offer prayer in a group led by a scholar called Imam. These places are called Mosques.
the Khana Kaba

Muslims only worship the one and only God, Allah, and do not worship anything else, including a black box. The 'black box' that you are referring to is properly called the ka'bah, and is believed by Muslims to have been built by Adam originally and then rebuilt by Abraham. It is considered to be the most sacred place of worship in Islam. Muslims do circumambulate the ka'bah and do face it during prayer, however Muslims DO NOT worship the ka'bah itself. To say that would be as absurd as saying that Christians who go to Church worship the Church itself or Jews who go to the synagogue worship the synagogue itself. The ka'bah is merely symbolic and is considered to be the 'house of Allah' hence Muslims face it during prayer, but actually worship only Allah.
The Kaaba was built by Prophet Ibrahim and his son Isma'il as a place of worship for monotheistic beliefs. Muslims believe it to be the first house of worship dedicated to Allah.
Oh, dude, it's like comparing apples and oranges... but if you really want to know, mosques are where Muslims pray and churches are where Christians pray. Mosques have minarets and domes, while churches have steeples and crosses. But hey, at the end of the day, they're both just buildings where people go to talk to the big guy upstairs, ya know?
Each temple built by Shotoku included facilities for the education and welfare of the people.
Because God deserves a beautiful place to live and have his church.
Notre Dame de Strasbourg is a cathedral. It was built as a place of worship for Catholics.
