However, there is a duty in most Western civilizations to maintain a level of tolerance for racial and religious activities. That is, Western societies generally require that their members refrain from physical assault or active discrimination based on racial or religious matters. While the United States is extremely permissive in the level of vitriol allowed in speech, many other Western nations are more restrictive in their definition of what is considered intolerant (and thus, illegal) speech.

Singapore is a multi racial country. we have many different religions. to mantain peace and harmony in Singapore,we must have racial harmony day. we should respect other religions beliefs and not laugh at them.If people laugh at your religion belief , you could also laugh at his as they are not scientific . when we have racial harmony day , we are actually mantaining peace and harmony between the different religions. without racial harmony day, we might have war every single day. I believe that "harmony" is a perspective. Harmony could be education: Knowing what colors go together and what exactly pops. Harmony could be the peace the artist feels with their subject. In a word it's open to interpretation. To harmonize with your own work you must find your own sense of harmony. You must define your own way and find a meaning that makes sense to you. Harmony in art is meaningless as a whole, It only makes sense individually. But of course, this is my opinion, my vision of how to interpret harmony. There is no strict "way", harmony evens out the scale of artistic philosophy, it does not tip either way, as is the Tao of art.
