I'm not famiar with the Grundfos valves specifically, but non-return valves are usually fitted to the suction side of pumps to prevent the pump from losing it's prime when it is stopped (by draining back through the inlet).
On split system installations, the suction line should be pitched towards the compressor at least Suction line should be insulated for 2 reasons: 1) so it does not drip condensation everywhere it passes through the homes interior space. ie attic, inside walls etc. 2) cool suction gas is what cools the compressor motor during operation, insulating the pipe carrying it helps prevent that gas from picking up heat from the surrounding air ensuring it remains an effective coolant for the motor. The original reply was also correct, an effort to pitch the suction line towards the compressor should be madr wherever possible to aid in oil return.
No. There is no default return type for functions, it must be explicitly specified in both the function declaration and in the definition. To specify no return value, return void. To return a variant type, return void* (pointer to void). Otherwise return the exact type.
return
A method that return a value should have a return statement. The method signature should indicate the type of return value. While in the case of a method that does not return a value should not have a return statement and in the signature, the return type is void. When using a method that doesn't return a value, a programmer can not get a value from that function, but instead, it can only change variable values and run other methods.
No. void is not a data type. It is mandatory for all java methods to return something and if it is not going to return anything, we have to mark the method with a "void" return type to let the JVM know that it must not expect anything from the method.
pressure gradient , gravity , skeletal muscle pump, thoracic pump and cardiac suction would be the mechanisms for venous return.
The suction cup will lose its attachment, unless it has an additional adhesive. Suction cups attached to a surface are held there by the pressure of the outside air, which is higher than the pressure under the cup. The suction cup is trying to return to its uncompressed condition, and pulls away from the surface, reducing the pressure under it.
air operated- spring return
at end of the chilled water return header, before entering in to suction of the primary pump and chiller anand
NRV is Non Return Valve which is prevents to liquid flood back to the suction line over the impeller or other else.
3 to 4 depending on the type of machinery. There is a suction filter, return filter, and a pressure filter mainly, but in some cases, off-line fiter can be incorporated

Sounds like a leak on the suction side of your equipment.
UPDATE I guess you have sorted out the problem by now, but if not and for future reference I recommend the following solution: Plug in your vacuum cleaner (recommended - Dyson) turn it on to full suction. Place the sucking tube onto the area of where your testicle usually is and allow the suction to help your testicle return to its rightful home. Hope this helps
I have never seen flexible PVC. However It does not seem like a good idea to use flexible piping for the suction side of the system especial y with the weight of fill on top of it. even on the pressure side there could be problems with the possibility that the weight of the fill on top of the tubing would eventualy flatten it.
NONE!!!! Zinc flakes are not good for a hydraulic system. Black pipe may be used for non-pressurized return and suction lines only.
Not pantyhose. Support stockings, which help return circulation in the lower extremities. Please have them recommended or fitted by your doctor. Ones that are too tight can cause more damage than help.
