This usually means you have a bad thermostat. But could be the water pumptoo, also your heater core could be plugged up. Change the thermostat first and see where that gets you, if still cold take the truck and have the cooling system flushed with the flushing machine.

i know on my 95 theres a simple drain plug built in to the radiator on the bottom on the pass. side. I think its a plastic 10 mm bolt.
theres no a.c drain on the system. there is a high side and a low side that a manifold hooks up to to read head pressure and freon psi.unless your talking about the radiator,then it should be at the bottom left or right corner of the radiator

You have to screw it open, theres a small latch at the bottom. Then theres a twisty thing in there.

Theres a hose on the bottom of the radiator and it wont come off. I have to take the hose off and put it on the new radiator. Any suggestions? Grip the hose where it fits over the rad pipe with a channel-lock wrench and gently twist it back and forward. -NOT too hard, just enough to loosen the rust.
