Why on Howrse it says you tried to edit your profile with the HTML mode?

If you edit your profile you must use normal mode not HTML mode. If you want to put a banner on you must go to HTML mode to paste in the code. If you want to say things like HI! My name is..... you have to make sure your mode is normal.

on howrse you go to your profile than to your account and then you click edit account then you put you image in that box

You can't "sell" your profile. To complete it go to Profile --> My Account --> Edit my account --> Confirm email address. Then go to your email box and click on the link in the email that will arrive from howrse.

The HTML mode option can be found to the side of the white content box when in edit mode. If you are looking to insert a picture without using HTML mode, click Edit Profile and then there should be a small icon with a house/sky/tree up where you can edit the text. Click on that and insert the link of the picture. If the image is on a site you can right click on it and select "Copy Image Location" to paste in. Hope that helps. ~MyFaveHorse~

You can edit your presentation by going to profile >> modify >> type/ paste in your content. If you have a special layout code you will also need to check the "html mode" box and paste in the full code before saving.
