I would have to say effort. If it was just for performance, how would the teacher know if the student understands what they are suppose to learn?.
In my opinion if a student did his assignment and the teacher see's that you at least put effort into it. Then I guess they should
students should not be graded on behavior because everyone acts differently and would not be a fare grade.
no
Very few students are bothering to learn cursive writing these days. But if something is taught, it is only fair to grade the results.
i think that would be awesome if my teacher would change my grade but i don't think teachers are actually allowed to change the grades due to the unfairness and the district school board It depends upon the school district. Students should be graded on what they know. Bad behavior should be addressed as a discipline issue, not an academic issue.
ahmm for me its centered in the activity of the students where the teacher is graded
Chapel prefects are responsible for assisting with the organization and coordination of chapel services, ensuring that services run smoothly, and supporting the chaplain in various activities such as setting up for services, maintaining chapel decorum, and providing assistance to fellow students during chapel events. They may also help in promoting spiritual growth and ensuring respectful behavior within the chapel.
Students should be graded on a combination of effort and ability. While ability reflects a student's understanding of the material, effort demonstrates their commitment and determination to improve. By considering both factors, educators can provide a more holistic assessment of a student's performance.
i strongly agree that detention should not be a punishment in schools, because if you want time off from looking after students i suggest you shoulnt have detention as a punishment.
students work = The students work hard. (multiple students) student's work = The student's work deserved an A. (one student) students' work = The students' work was the highlight of the presentation. (belonging to multiple students)
Well if you are misbehaving then you are probably not particapating in what you are doing, so by grading you on conduct the teacher can sorta like make you do the thing you are supposed to be doing unless you dont care about your grade.
No.
A teacher who has difficulty controlling the students could ask for help and ideas from other teachers or from the principal and school administration. The teacher could set up a behavior system with expectations for classroom behavior with consequences for poor behavior and rewards for good behavior. The teacher could also look at each individual student. Maybe there are some students who need additional help or counseling. Maybe there are students who could benefit from placement in a different classroom or program. Maybe there are students who need to be separated from other students.
Physical and verbal punishment are not effective ways to discipline students. Positive reinforcement and setting clear expectations are more successful in promoting good behavior and creating a positive learning environment. Teachers should use strategies like logical consequences, behavior contracts, and counseling to support students in making better choices.
It depends on they're behavior. And opinion about things,
