As far as maintenance, it would depend on what is wrong with it and what is right with it. does it run and if so, how well? i.e. does the engine run smoothly and the transmission shift smoothly? I recommend becoming friends with a mechanic and having him/her look at the it. As far as gas mileage, it would mostly depend on what size engine it has in it and how much the vehicle weighs, but the fact that it has All-Wheel-Drive means that it will be worse that front or rear wheel drive vehicles with the above mentioned factors.
