How do you replace the thermostat on a 1990 Honda Accord LX?

The thermostat for the 90-93 accord is on the back left-hand side of the engine where the hose connects from the radiator to the engine, disconnect the hose and clamp it off or move it to the side as not to leak antifreeze (use a rag or container for antifreeze that comes from engine block). Unscrew the 2 screws from the hose adapter and take it off alone with the old thermostat. Replace thermostat as well as rubber gasket. how do i find the thermostat on my 1990 accord

Does the Honda Accord have any special deals or promotions going on right now?

There are many special deals going on this time for Honda Accords. It is actually the time of year when the dealers are trying to get rid of the 2011 vehicles so that they can move the 2012's in the door. Now is a great time to purchase a Honda Accord.

What does the EX on a Honda Accord mean?

The Honda Accord EX is the top of the line Accord. The Accord comes is various trim levels starting with the DX. From there you move up to the LX, LX-V6, and finally the EX. Only Honda knows for sure exactly what the letters EX stand for, if they stand for anything. It may be that Honda just uses the term EX to describe their best car, or it may mean Extra. This is a guess, but before i did my reseach and found this page, i convinced myself a good term would be Exclusive!

Why does the rpm go high in a 2001 Honda accord?

maybe because your transmission needs fluid.....if it revs up and doesnt move, your car is not shifting gears....either you need fluid, or a gear is stuck.....check your engine for fluid and see if it's low. if not, take it in and get the transmission looked at.

How a Honda accord power steering works?

Honda Accords are equipped with a hydraulic assisted steering system. The rotation of the motors crankshaft also drives the vehicles accessory belt system. The belts drive the power steering pump which pressurized fluid into the steering gear. The turning of the steering wheel actuates the rack-and-pinion to move right of left. The hydraulic pressure assists the gear in this movement. Without this pressure assist turning the steering takes much more force.
