it is because in pi-filter the filtration process occurs twice so its efficiency would be much larger than any any of the filters.

it has three components :-

1. capacitor 2.choke-coil 3. capacitor

when the rectified signal passes through the filter the capacitor c1 provides a low resistance path to the ac component there by filtering the signal at the first stage and the inductor provides the low resistance path for the dc component and the capacitor c2 provides low resistance path for the remaining ac component there by performing the second stage of filtering and allowing the dc component to pass through the resistor .

due to the double filtering the signal is almost smooth as the plain dc siganl , so tis can be used for various apllications

pi filter is best using inductor and capacitor.

Why cant capacitor filter connected in series to load?

in output is pulsetting voltage remove the pulses to use the capacitor this passes the pure voltage to the load

Is mineral a pure substance?

Theoretically a mineral is a pure substance; practically this situation is not so frequent.

How a pure sine wave inverter works circuit diagrams?

Filter the output with a low-pass filter whose cut-off frequency is less than 120 Hz. That process removes the energy at harmonic frequencies from the output waveform, leaving only the energy at 60 Hz.

How many substances are pure substances?

Practically (exceptions exist) all known substances can be obtained in a pure fom.

Is heavy water conductive?

Pure heavy water is practically not conductive.

What is the maximum DC voltage you could expect to obtain from a transformer with an 18V rms secondary using a full rectifier circuit with a filter capacitor?

25.46V assuming output of transformer is pure sinewave.

How do you remove magnesium carbonate from table salt to make the salt totally pure?

Magnesium carbonate is practically insoluble in water; dissolve the salt, filter the solution. Magnesium carbonate remain on the filter, the sodium chloride is now in solution. You can use this solution as table salt solution or by evaporation of the water you can obtain pure crystallized NaCl. But I think that it is more simple to buy pure sodium chloride; also, magnesium carbonate is not dangerous and is a common food additive.

How you convert pure ac to pure dc?

The general type of circuit is called a full wave bridge that is made from 4-diodes and a filtering circuit to reduce ripple in the output. Ripple would be slight variations in the DC output. A key component in the filter is a capacitor. Look up full wave bridge for schematic diagram. Basically it converts the negative part of the AC signal to positive.
