Because we get our energy from other orgamisms and plants need chloroplast to get the energy from the sun to make their own food.
Plants need chlorophyll because that is what allows them to convert sunlight to energy they can use in their metabolism. People do not use chlorophyll, and so don't have it, because as animals we do not convert sunlight directly to energy. We eat plants, or other animals that eat plants, and use their energy.
Sort of. Chloroplast has chlorophyll stored in it and that is usually in plants. Many plants have protein but to answer your question, you need to be more specific. Check out the Wikipedia article for details. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chloroplast
Chloroplast is found in parts of plants exposed to sunlight, where it is used in photosynthesis. Onion bulbs are not normally exposed to sunlight, so there is no need for chloroplasts in the bulb.
All plant cells have mitochondria to serve as the cell's powerhouse. Without the mitochondria in a plant cell, the cell won't be able to do its functions. Mitochondria is a complex part of cell. Chloroplast is another important organelle of a plant cell. Animals can survive without chloroplast but plants don't. Plants have chloroplasts to be able to manufacture their own food. The chloroplast traps light coming from the sun. And the light energy is a very much important ingredient of photosynthesis.
Plants cells have chloroplasts because they need it for a process called photosynthesis. But both plant and animal cells have mitochondria. Animal cells can use the mitochondria to get energy that why they need chloroplast.
the chloroplast
Cellulose is not a plant. It is a carbohydrate, a polymer of sugar that makes up the cell wall of all plants.

Chloroplasts make food for plants. They are very important

Chloroplast in a living cell, sunlight, CO2 and Water.

The chloroplast converts sunlight into molecules and energy the cell can use.
No plants can not live without chloroplast, plants are known as producers and also autotrophs i.e. they make their food by own for this they need sunlight which is trap by chlorophyll pigment present in chloroplast so chloroplast is necessary for their food production and so as for their survival. Allthough there are some exception for autotrophy in plants i.e. some species are insectivorous but still they also require chloroplast for their survival.

plants need to photosynthesis as this is how they make their food. animals do not as they get their food from other sources such as plants and other animals.
