No. The basis for religious freedom would be that everybody has the right to choose what they believe in.
We may believe and do what is infact right.
First of all, and atheist is a person who dent believe in god and they usually have a reason for nit doing so, and religious people do believe in god because they have found faith. GO CATHOLICS! They are right about God!
Possibly because they were religious. People who are not religious do not normally believe in superstitions.
It depends on your religious status. If you believe in God, you may believe that He is the holder of your future. I think that you are the one who controls your future by making the right decisions.
He is Muslim but does not follow every word in the religious texts. He believes (and is right to believe) that religious texts are not original and have been altered by man through the ages. He encourages people to believe in whichever religion they like but don't follow every word in religious texts because they are not original any more.
Personally i believe that every person has the right to chose their religion. Greek religion is considered paganism by the christian world but i think that nobody can decide what is right and wrong as far as the religious beliefs of another person. Sometimes each of us has their personal beliefs about religion anyway, even if we belong to the same religious group.
They are not mutually exclusive. A lot of religious people believe in evolution, and a lot don't, despite the evidence (fossil records etc) It's a personal choice whether to be religious, and whether to believe in evolution or not. If you aren't really bothered about either, you can just not think about it.
Yes, Sir Issac Newton did believe in religious toleration. He also wrote on this topic.
yes ^^^ whoever wrote that is an idiot. no! we all have a right to believe what we want. whoever does that is a complete control freak. . (and slightly nuts)
I believe the most religious freedom was christians and catholics
Depends on you religious leanings. if you are a religious person and you feel that what the church says regarding marriage is relevant then its wrong. on the other hand if you do not believe in the churches opinion on these matter then there is noting wrong with it.
