Cell phone. The reason for it would be because you can carry it with you. It's also good for emergencies. However, carrying it around in your pocket, having it off or even talking on the cellphone is unhealthy. It can increase chances in cancer and even brain cancer.

Land line. The reason for it would because it does not have the same health risks as a cellphone would. The only down-side about it would be that you cannot carry it around with you.

mobile... meaning you can move and be mobile while using it, you don't have to be attached to your home. The signals are sent through hidden antennas in the cell rather than a receiver. A land line would be a phone that restricts you to a certain area, ex. your home.

Technically cellphones are better than landlines cuz like well...In a cellphone you can txt,get long distance calls,AND Wifi!! :) You can also take pics I guess if ur phone has a camera...Umm...Play games.. BUT Also, okay nevermind that's all I can think of!

Landlines can be good because they're cheaper, they last longer, don't have to be charged and if you have an emergency they can trace your calls ( < I think) better than with cellphones. But both cellphones and landlines also have their disadvantages cuz a landline can only reach a certain radius.

A cellphone sometimes has bad reception, the're more expensive and they HAVE to be charged. Sometimez ya gotta pay for txting and other stuff. And sumtimez the people rip you off (especially if you get a pre-paid phone).

Ummm so yeah I hope that helps! =D

In addition to portability, some of the benefits of cell phones over landline phones are the features that they can provide. Most people now want the ability to text message, take pictures, and send and receive e-mail. A landline phone could be used for when your cell phone signal goes out and for emergencies in the household.

Landline phone users, an endangered species?

It is becoming more and more frequent for people filling in their home phone number on a form to simply fill in their cellphone number. Sometimes the reason is that they are more accessible by their cellphone than their landline, but more often it is because they no longer have a landline active in their home. When examining the reasons for this trend, you usually will find that the convenience and constant availability of a cellphone is one of the primary reasons. For someone who was a landline phone user in the past and has now switched to cellphones only, the financial benefit weighs in heavy as well. It isn’t necessarily cheaper to have a cellphone than a landline phone, usually the opposite would be true. But it is cheaper to have only one or the other, rather than both a landline and a cellphone. That’s where the convenience and versatility of a cellphone becomes a big draw to the landline phone user. When having to choose between the cost of the cellphone plan and the cost of the landline, these are the factors that usually tilt in favor of the cellphone: 1. Never having to miss an important call because you weren’t at home. That is the big one of course. 2. Being able to make a call from almost any location. This is really just as important as number one, since it can be a life saver in an emergency. 3. The additional features that often come with your cellphone such as texting, camera, contact numbers saved within your phone and, with the more expensive phones and a data package, you can also receive your email, surf the web and the list could go on and on. As the younger generation begins using cellphones earlier and earlier, it will be interesting to see what becomes of the landline phone and who will be the typical landline phone user in the future.
