because emergencys don't only happen at home or your freinds house or at the mall they happen at school too
forinstince when i was in 5th grade a man broke out of prison and went to my school and we were kept there 3 hours after without a cell my dad was worried becuz he didnt know y i wasnt home my school was surounded by police and they wouldn't tell the parents anything
also my school now had been closed randomly during the day so i had to leave along with everyone else three hours earlier than ussual
