The government is a messed up system and they send helpless children to mental hospitals so they can make money off of our health care providers. Recently they have been holding kids against their will only because they have nowhere to go. The DSS has also been holding kids against their will and not seeking their best interests.

How us government is going to pay for new health care reform?

The same way the government pays for everything, tax money. This is why it's unpopular among republicans. Keep in mind that we are paying more every year for health care now via tax too with the system before the reform. So in reality, whether the reform is there or not, we'll still have to pay more tax for health care.

What is the health care bill about?

The health care bill is about attempting to provide health insurance to those who cannot afford it, and to insure that people with pre-existing conditions can get health care insurance. The health care bill will require that ALL people except the poverty stricken, pay for health-care insurance. Estimates say you will pay more than what it would cost you now and you will not receive the same quality and service. It's about the government incrementally taking over 1/6 of the American economy. The same government that is running the country into bankruptcy wants to run health care for all...

I have heard that Europe doesn't allow for-profit Health Care Does anyone know if this is true and more importantly can you provide a link to that information?

In the United Kingdom the Government offers National Health Care which is free health care for anyone in the UK. However, in addition you can purchase private health insurance through your employer.

What are advantages of the NHS?

There is a huge advantage in having the NHS because we are not having to dig deep into our pockets and pay for health care. In developing countries such as Africa people have to pay for health care and some cases of D.I.Y health care are emerging! However with more and more hospitals treating patients terribly perhaps there should be more private health care clinicls available afterall it's the reliability that counts!

Health care that can provide and remain profitable?

If health care is run by the government it will be able to provide health care to all. People will not be denied under "pre-existing condition" nonsense. Medical bankruptcies, which do not exist in European countries, will cease to happen. The only danger is the private sector involvement with its massive overhead to pay inflated salaries and stock dividends to the overfed. The Medicare and VA systems deliver health care with an overhead under 4%, the private sector has an overhead of over 25%! Which is more efficient? The government needs to exclude the private sector which views government contracts as a way to bleed the taxpayer. Remember those $1000 wrenches?--that is Capitalism in action! Some things, especially health care should not involve a business-like profit motive and no American should lose their home because an insurance company denied their claim..

Is health care spelled healthcare or health care?

They are two different meanings. Health care is more general in meaning all the different ways health care can be implemented, including things like education and awareness. When it is combined into healthcare it means more specifically the facilities and programs that are put in place to help with health care, or care of health.

Why is private health care so expensive in the United States?

Health care in the United States is separated from the public and private sectors and the private sectors are not as tightly regulated by the government. Private health care claims to provide a specialized treatment so tend to charge highly more than the public sector.
