How do you replace the headlight bulb located on a 1998 Ford Escort Sport?

Get a Chiltons manual, as it has pictures and step by step instructions on how to do this. Remember though, you are dealing with halogen bulbs which SHOULD NOT be handled with bare hands. This is because the oils from your hands will create hot spots on the glass and the bulb life will be shortend. You should also wear safety glasses as the bulbs are pressurized with halogen gas.
