The display of mummies in museums is complicated. On one hand, mummies should be kept in museums because there are so few mummies left that were not looted from their tombs, and we can learn a lot about the ancient Egyptians from the mummies left behind. They are very important tools to unlocking what the Egyptians thought and believed about death, the afterlife, life on Earth, and their general religion.
However, the exhibition of mummies is complicated because, even though they are precious artifacts, they are also dead bodies of real people, removed from the place of their supposed eternal rest to be gawked at in museum galleries. This practice is slightly unethical when thought of in this manner. The exhibition of human remains in museums is something that museum professionals and museum scholars continue to grapple with and argue about today, and that will continue to be an issue long into the future.
In the museums...
yes
Mummies are in Egypt and museums.
Mummies are typically found buried in tombs, such as in Ancient Egypt where they were placed in elaborate burial chambers with various artifacts and goods for the afterlife. Different cultures and civilizations throughout history have also practiced mummification and burial in various ways, often in special crypts or designated burial sites.
Theree are some mummies in the Valley of the Kings/ Queens and others are in some of Egypt's museums.

mummies normally stayed in their tombs . the only time a mummy would leave it's tomb is when it was stolen by tomb robbers or was legally taken by museums with permission from the "mayor" of the town .
The first mummies were found in Egypt and had been known about for many years before they became artifacts and displayed in museums. There is no name as to know who the person was to find the first mummy, but Christian Herzog was first to publish his findings of an unrolled mummy in 1718.
An Egyptologist should be a good choice.
