You should and shouldn't use certain plastics for a number of reasons. One type of plastic made for the longest time was cheap, but would take years and years for it to decompose, and the OTHER type of plastic being made today is more environmentally friendly because it decomposes and breaks down within a year.

∙ 12y agoBecause it is not "bio-degradable" meaning that if we were to put it in the earth it's take forever to waste away in the earth or may never where if you use wood or paper that will waste away a lot quicker and doesn't have as bad of chemicals to make it
