Discipline is a word which is greater and broader in meaning depends on person to person and time to time.so far as the philosophy of eduction is concern it is very much required to inculcate high values of life with the help of self-discipline.Discipline is an inner quality of human beings, its not a imposed from outside because if you impose it will work temporarily not permanent.so during college education its taught the values of our great classics like-RAMAYAN and GEETA. In past kings son goes to get quality education like-ethics,moral values, character, honesty, self-discipline,obedience ,respect their elders etc.but in recent time all these are vanished.because we are making our children wealth making machine type of education.and later machine works on others instruction.

Is the increase in number of colleges adequate to admit the increasing number of student?

More than the number, the access to these colleges should be seen an important aspect. Colleges where education is expensive often keeps several from availing the facility. Moreover, the education should be more vocational rather than simply academic. this will help the students to get jobs easily. Thus, not only more colleges should be opened but also their quality should be judged.
